Story
As a private investigator, it is your job to investigate an unexplainable and peculiar dissapearance at an abandoned motel. As you begin to piece things together, you begin to see that this was no normal dissapearance... The opposite in fact.

Pretty good for it's length with some solid scares. Great job!
Just a heads up to the dev: you can break the game by going into the alley to the right of the doors and walking against the boxes in the back left corner of the alley. You end up in the level on the other side of the four doors. You can interact with one of the doors and you end up in the crime scene room but the objectives get all messed up because the game thinks you've already put the VHS in the VCR even though you didn't do any earlier objectives. I tried to enter the dark room where you get the VHS and the game froze completely. I had to force close it. At first I thought this was some kind of secret, but the game freezing makes me think that it's a glitch.

A fun short horror detective game.
Has great atmosphere and the retro graphics are always a welcomed sight. Ended a bit too abruptly for me personally, was just really getting into it lol. That being said I'll definitely be checking out anything else I see you make and I look forward to seeing some extended gameplay in the future! Keep up the good work

I will say the monster *the woman" is SCARY as hell! I hope you can make another game with more of this character. Maybe perhaps build more to it or do a game on how this person went missing! It was difficult at times to select items but overall great game!
Not too bad, could definitely have more added to it!
Game isn't bad but it has problems (spoilers):
-hitbox for items is weird, to read a note I had to look at... well air, sometimes on specific lines of pixels
-you have to do things in specific order otherwise game bugs - i inspected documents first (showed description of painting anyway) and then game didn't allow me to read a note on bookshelf. Bugged again after restart in the bedroom when I wanted to pick up the tape - it didn't allow me
-honestly why I am locked to check things in specific order? I am an investigator, allow me to look freely
-not exactly a problem but the hand in corridors could be little faster and less visible to create a doubt in player ("Did I actually see something or I am trippin?")
Also... was that a .png face from Mario creepypasta?
You had me at PS1 style, and was instantly hooked. Really enjoyed the ambience of this one, and even though I knew the jump was coming, it got me. Great job with the game! I had a blasty blast! Check out the playthrough in the video below!
Only thing I have complaints about was the speed of the character. It could have been intended for the horror feature of the gameplay, but it was still annoying to deal with. Other than that, the jump scares got me, and I loved it! The audio level was perfect, loved that there were options for the mouse sensitivity as well. Those are always a pain to deal with, and I'm glad I didn't need to deal with that here. Keep up the good work! Loved it! Scary! Great job!
